This awesome list of Bullet Journal Ideas will boost your motivation to be more organized and productive!
As a blogger and online researcher, I often come across words such as Bullet Journal/BuJo from other bloggers which makes me think what is it and why is it so popular?
Well, if this Bullet Journal is new to you, it’s ok. I also learned and paid attention to this just recently.
A little confession…
For those who know me, I may seem an organized person but the truth is I’m NOT. I’m unorganized, unfocused and forgetful.
I’m a true scatterbrain!
It’s my struggle all the time! And it doesn’t help especially when I’m trying to write something. It’s like a million things are racing on my mind.
And the result? ZERO!

Nothing gets done in time because I’m also busy doing other things (or should I say the less important things at the same time.) Can anyone relate???
That’s how I’ve found my salvation through making list:
BULLET JOURNAL: WHO, WHAT?
“KonMari for your racing thoughts” – VOGUE (1)
I got really curious as to who created this brilliant BuJo. And I was amazed that it was a man who was diagnosed with learning disabilities early in life.
As a result, he figured out alternate ways to be focused and productive. Ryder Carroll, a digital product designer, and an author is the man, and an inspiring one.
So what really is a Bullet Journal or BuJo?
Basically, it requires a notebook, yes, but it’s actually a methodology. It’s a productivity system designed to help bullet journalists live intentional lives that are productive and meaningful.
While it’s similar to a planner, it is so much flexible because you’ll be able to customize it according to your needs.
The goal of a bullet journal is to help you reach your goals by organizing your life in a specifically categorized notebook.
Just like what Ryder Carroll says, ” It helps you track the past, organize the present, and plan for the future.”

Starting a bullet journal doesn’t have to be complicated. All you need is a simple wide-ruled spiral notebook and a pencil.
But if you’re an artsy type, you can make bullet journalling even more fun and creative! More people find the organizational and artistic part of the bullet journal therapeutic.
So if you really want to level up your bullet journalling game, you may want to invest with the following tools!
Dual tipped Tombow pens
Tombow Pens are great and the colors they come in are just lovely! And the cool part is they’re dual-tipped so you can choose how thick or thin you want your line.
Tombow Fudenosuke Outlining Pens
To complete your bullet journal kit, you need these Fudenosuke outlining pens. They are durable and don’t bleed like a lot of regular gel pens do.
These are definitely an investment!
Washi Tape
Washi Tape is such a great way to color coordinate each section of your bullet journal. It keeps all your bullet journal ideas and makes them findable and pretty!
You can also do endless things with them, from creating nice tabs, boxes, or even helping you trace straight lines.
Sticky notes
Sticky notes are my favorite! I love their colors and I find them great for creating a mini calendar by using each sticky a day and lining them up.
They can also be used as dividers or colorful add-ins to your bujo pages to create your unique designs.
