First on the list of our CNY drinks is a rum-based cocktail with hints of anise flavor. That is Pernod, a liqueur with Chinese star anise as its primary flavor.
The flavor has a touch of mystery to it, and lemon juice and grenadine balance it out.
Thus, you’ll have a very refreshing cocktail by adding grenadine and lemon juice. While the Pernod is not overpowering because you only use one-fourth of an ounce of it.
Overall, this drink has an herbal, sweet, and tart flavor. Even if you’re unsure if you like it, you can’t help but keep going back for another taste as you try to distinguish the flavors.

In Chinese culture, the jade stone is valued highly. Sincerity, loyalty, justice, wisdom, and purity are represented by it.
Try one of our versions of this cocktail if you feel like you need any of those things in your life.
The term “Jade cocktail” refers to several very different drink concoctions. You will naturally need at least two of them in your life to enjoy it to the fullest. I chose the two that differed the most from one another.
It appears that you can combine pretty much anything green and call it jade. But the best recipe, in my opinion, is the first one.
Because it contains rum, creme de menthe, and lime, the first drink has a Mojito-like flavor to it. The flavor profile is altered when Cointreau orange liqueur is also added.

If you’ve never tried it, the Creme de Cassis tastes somewhat like a grape with a hint of blackberry and has a flavor of black currants. A slight amount of the hazelnut liqueur Frangelico is also acceptable.
